“Dear children, Today I am calling you: return to God, return to prayer, so that you may become carriers of peace. Pray, little children, for peace that is in danger; and may prayer begin to flow anew from your hearts and from your families, so that, in joy, you may feel the voice of Jesus in your hearts: ‘Peace be with you.’ Be, little children, carriers of peace and prayer for all those who do not pray. I am with you and I pray for you before my Son Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

Razmišljanje uz Gospinu poruku od 25. kolovoza 2026.
U nekoliko rečenica ponavljaju se riječi Bog – molitva – mir – srce – obitelj – Isus. Kao da nam se pokazuje put kojim se izlazi iz nemira današnjega čovjeka.
„Vratite se Bogu, vratite se molitvi“
Zašto „vratite se“?
Možda zato što smo se kao čovječanstvo udaljili. Imamo više mogućnosti nego ikada, a često manje unutarnjega mira. Povezani smo sa cijelim svijetom, a možemo biti udaljeni jedni od drugih u vlastitim obiteljima.
Poziv na povratak Bogu nije prijetnja. To je poziv kući.
Vratiti se Bogu znači ponovno dopustiti Bogu da bude prvi. Vratiti se molitvi znači ne moliti samo onda kada nam nešto treba, nego ponovno živjeti s Bogom: ujutro, navečer, u obitelji, pred križem, pred Presvetim, u Euharistiji, ispovijedi i tišini.
„Mir koji je u opasnosti“
Ove riječi posebno odzvanjaju.
Ne trebamo ih pretvarati u nagađanja ili strah. Trebamo ih pretvoriti u molitvu i odgovornost.
Mir je ugrožen najprije onda kada nestane iz ljudskog srca. Ratovi prije nego što dođu na bojišta često počinju u srcu: mržnjom, ohološću, osvetom, neprihvaćanjem drugoga.
Zato se mir ne gradi samo među državama. Mir počinje u meni.
Ako želim mir u svijetu, moram se pitati: Nosim li ja mir svojoj obitelji? Jesam li spreman oprostiti? Postoji li netko s kim ne razgovaram? Postoji li rana koju ne želim predati Bogu?
„Neka iznova molitva poteče iz vaših srca i iz vaših obitelji“
Možda je upravo riječ „iznova“ jedna od najvažnijih riječi ove poruke.
Kao da se govori obiteljima: počnite ponovno.
Ako ste prestali zajedno moliti – počnite ponovno.
Ako je krunica ostala negdje u ladici – uzmite je ponovno.
Ako djeca više ne mole s roditeljima – pokušajte ih ponovno okupiti, bez prisile, ali s ljubavlju i vlastitim primjerom.
Ne mora obiteljska molitva odmah biti duga. Možda pet ili deset minuta. Jedna desetica krunice. Jedan odlomak Evanđelja. Jedna spontana molitva roditelja za djecu i djece za roditelje.
Važno je vratiti Boga u središte doma.
„Mir s vama!“
I tada poruka dolazi do svoga središta – Isusa.
To je presudno. Cilj nije samo da postanemo ljudi koji više mole. Cilj je da kroz molitvu susretnemo Krista i u srcu prepoznamo njegov glas:
„Mir s vama!“
To je uskrsni pozdrav. Kristov mir nije samo odsutnost problema. Čovjek može imati križ, bolest, neizvjesnost i poteškoće, a ipak duboko u sebi nositi mir jer zna: Bog je sa mnom.
Zato pravi mir nije nešto što proizvodimo vlastitim snagama. Mir je dar susreta s Isusom.
„Za sve one što ne mole“
Ovdje se horizont poruke naglo širi.
Ne molimo samo za sebe.
Pozvani smo moliti i za onoga koji ne moli.
Za onoga koji je izgubio vjeru. Za mladoga koji nikada nije upoznao Boga. Za obitelj koja se raspada. Za čovjeka koji je daleko od Crkve. Za političke vođe. Za narode u sukobu. Za čovjeka koji možda nikada neće saznati da je netko kleknuo pred Boga i molio upravo za njega.
To znači biti nositelj mira.
Ne samo govoriti o miru.
Nositi mir.
Ući u prostoriju i ne donositi podjelu. U razgovoru ne širiti ogovaranje. Na uvredu ne odgovoriti novom uvredom. U obitelji prvi pružiti ruku. Tamo gdje svi osuđuju – moliti. Tamo gdje se ljudi boje – donositi nadu.
Poruka za ovaj trenutak
Čini mi se da bismo cijelu poruku mogli sažeti u jednu rečenicu:
Svijet se vraća miru kada se čovjek vrati Bogu.
Ne možemo sami promijeniti cijeli svijet. Ali možemo dopustiti Bogu da danas promijeni jedno srce – moje srce.
A iz jednog obraćenog srca mir može prijeći u jednu obitelj. Iz jedne obitelji u susjedstvo. Iz susjedstva u zajednicu. I tako čovjek postaje ono na što ova poruka poziva: nositelj mira.
Zato danas ne pitajmo samo: „Što će biti sa svijetom?“
Pitajmo:
„Gospodine, što želiš danas promijeniti u meni?“
I neka večeras iz naših obitelji ponovno poteče molitva.
Kraljice Mira, vodi nas svome Sinu. Nauči nas moliti srcem. Vrati mir u naša srca, mir u naše obitelji i mir među narodima. Učini nas svojim ispruženim rukama prema onima koji ne mole, koji su izgubili nadu i koji traže put prema Bogu. Isuse, neka u tišini naših srca ponovno odjekne Tvoja riječ: „Mir s vama!“ Amen.

Reflection on Our Lady's message of August 25, 2026
In several sentences, the words God - prayer - peace - heart - family - Jesus are repeated. It is as if we are shown the way out of the turmoil of today's man.
"Return to God, return to prayer"
Why "return"?
Perhaps because we have become distant as humanity. We have more possibilities than ever, and often less inner peace. We are connected to the whole world, and we can be distant from each other in our own families.
The call to return to God is not a threat. It is a call home.
Returning to God means once again allowing God to be first. Returning to prayer means not praying only when we need something, but living with God again: in the morning, in the evening, in the family, before the cross, before the Blessed Sacrament, in the Eucharist, in confession and in silence.
"Peace that is in danger"
These words resonate in a special way.
We should not turn them into speculation or fear. We should turn them into prayer and responsibility.
Peace is threatened first when it disappears from the human heart. Wars, before they reach the battlefield, often begin in the heart: with hatred, arrogance, revenge, and the lack of acceptance of the other.
That is why peace is not built only between countries. Peace begins within me.
If I want peace in the world, I must ask myself: Do I bring peace to my family? Am I ready to forgive? Is there anyone I do not speak to? Is there a wound that I do not want to hand over to God?
“Let prayer flow anew from your hearts and from your families”
Perhaps the word “anew” is one of the most important words in this message.
It is as if families are being told: start again.
If you have stopped praying together – start again.
If the rosary has been left somewhere in a drawer – take it up again.
If children no longer pray with their parents – try to bring them together again, without coercion, but with love and your own example.
Family prayer does not have to be long right away. Maybe five or ten minutes. One decade of the rosary. One passage from the Gospel. One spontaneous prayer of parents for children and children for parents.
It is important to bring God back to the center of the home.
“Peace be with you!”
And then the message comes to its center – Jesus.
This is crucial. The goal is not just to become people who pray more. The goal is to encounter Christ through prayer and recognize his voice in our hearts:
“Peace be with you!”
This is the Easter greeting. The peace of Christ is not just the absence of problems. A person can have a cross, illness, uncertainty and difficulties, and yet carry peace deep within them because they know: God is with me.
Therefore, true peace is not something we produce with our own strength. Peace is the gift of encountering Jesus.
“For all those who do not pray”
Here the horizon of the message suddenly expands.
We do not pray only for ourselves.
We are called to pray also for those who do not pray.
For those who have lost their faith. For the young person who has never known God. For the family that is falling apart. For the person who is far from the Church. For political leaders. For people in conflict. For the person who may never know that someone knelt before God and prayed for him.
This means being a bearer of peace.
Not just talking about peace.
Carrying peace.
Entering a room and not bringing division. In conversation, not spreading gossip. Not responding to an insult with a new insult. In the family, be the first to extend a hand. Where everyone judges – pray. Where people are afraid – bring hope.
A message for this moment
It seems to me that we could summarize the entire message in one sentence:
The world returns to peace when a person returns to God.
We cannot change the whole world alone. But we can allow God to change one heart today – my heart.
And from one converted heart, peace can spread to a family. From one family to a neighborhood. From a neighborhood to a community. And so a person becomes what this message calls for: a bearer of peace.
So today, let us not only ask: “What will happen to the world?”
Let us ask:
“Lord, what do you want to change in me today?”
And let prayer flow again from our families tonight.
Queen of Peace, lead us to your Son. Teach us to pray with our hearts. Restore peace to our hearts, peace to our families and peace among nations. Make us your outstretched hands towards those who do not pray, who have lost hope and who are seeking the way to God. Jesus, may your word resound in the silence of our hearts: “Peace be with you!” Amen.

DECREE
THE APOSTOLIC PENITENTIARY, with the purpose of increasing the piety of the faithful and the salvation of souls, by virtue of the faculties bestowed upon him in a most special way by our Most Holy Father in Christ Our Lord, POPE FRANCIS, BY DIVINE PROVIDENCE, attentively considering the recent petitions presented by His Excellency ALDO CAVALLI, Titular Archbishop of Vibo, Apostolic Visitor for the Parish of Saint James the Apostle in Medjugorje, of the Diocese of Mostar-Duvno, graciously grants a PLENARY INDULGENCE from the treasury of the Church's heavenly mercy, under the usual conditions (sacramental Confession, Eucharistic Communion, and prayer for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff), to the faithful who are truly penitent and moved by charity, which they can obtain throughout the Ordinary JUBILEE YEAR OF 2025, and which they can also use as a prayer for the souls of the faithful in purgatory if they make a pilgrimage to the PARISH CHURCH OF ST. JAMES THE APOSTLE IN MEDJUGORJE and devoutly participate in the Jubilee rites there or at least dedicate appropriate time to pious prayers, including the Lord's Prayer, the Creed and the invocations of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The elderly, the infirm, and all those who for serious reasons cannot leave their homes, can likewise obtain the Plenary Indulgence, having conceived the intention of detachment from any sin and with the intention of fulfilling, as soon as they are able, the three usual conditions, if they spiritually unite themselves to the jubilee celebrations, offering their prayers, sufferings, or the inconveniences of their own lives to the merciful God.
Therefore, to facilitate access to divine forgiveness through the keys of the Church out of pastoral charity, this Penitentiary earnestly requests that priests endowed with appropriate faculties to hear confessions make themselves available with a prompt, generous, and merciful spirit for the celebration of Penance.
This decree is valid throughout the Ordinary Jubilee Year of 2025. No contrary provisions shall hinder its execution.
Given in Rome, at the Apostolic Penitentiary, on the 24th day of December, in the year of the Incarnation of the Lord 2024.
